Auchentoshan 18 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Auchentoshan 18 Year Old is the Lowland distillery's mature statement, matured for a minimum of eighteen years in American oak bourbon casks. Triple-distilled at Clydebank near Glasgow, as every Auchentoshan spirit has been since 1823, it starts from an unusually light and clean new-make, then lets nearly two decades of oak bring depth without heaviness.

At 86 proof, the 18 Year shows toasted almond, green tea and tobacco leaf on the nose, followed by caramel, orange zest and a soft citrus-oil sweetness. The finish is long and gently drying with lingering oak and nut. Bottled without peat and with the distillery's signature smoothness, this is a refined, elegant Scotch for slow sipping and a strong choice for a gift.
